OFFICIAL RULES — “GUESS THE WEIGHT” CONTEST
1. Sponsor. JK Munitions LLC, Vero Beach, Florida (“Sponsor”). Contact: sales@jkmunitions.com.
2. No purchase necessary. No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning.
3. Eligibility. Open to legal U.S. residents who are 21 or older at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
4. Contest period. The contest begins October 7, 2026 at 9:00 PM ET and ends October 14, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET (“Contest Period”). Sponsor’s clock is the official timekeeper.
5. How to enter. During the Contest Period: (a) follow Sponsor’s official Instagram account (@[HANDLE]); (b) like Sponsor’s official contest post; and (c) comment on the contest post with a single weight guess in pounds and ounces (for example, “6 lb 4 oz”) and tag at least one friend in the same comment. Tagged accounts must be real people, not brand, bot, or duplicate accounts. Limit one guess per person and per account. Additional comments containing guesses, comments edited after posting, comments with more than one guess, and entries from multiple accounts controlled by the same person will be disqualified. Sponsor will verify the follow, like, and tag requirements for potential winners only. A potential winner who doesn’t meet all requirements at the close of the contest will be disqualified, and the next closest eligible guess will be selected.
6. The rifle. The rifle shown, chambered in 6mm ARC with a 16-inch barrel, will be weighed in the following configuration: barreled action, stock, scope base, rings, optic, suppressor, and empty magazine. The bipod shown in the contest image is NOT included in the weight. No ammunition, sling, or other accessories will be included. The rifle will be weighed on a calibrated digital scale, zeroed on camera, and the weight will be recorded to the nearest ounce. The weigh-in will be posted on video, and that measured weight is final.
7. Winners.
- Grand Prize (1): The guess closest to the measured weight, whether over or under.
- Runner-Up Prizes (4): The next four closest guesses, whether over or under.
- Ties at any position go to the earliest comment by timestamp.
- Each person may win only one prize.
8. Prizes.
- Grand Prize: $100 off the purchase of one (1) new firearm or suppressor valued at $500 or more from Sponsor.
- Runner-Up Prizes: $50 off the purchase of one (1) new firearm or suppressor valued at $500 or more from Sponsor.
- Discounts apply to Sponsor’s listed retail price at the time of purchase, except where a manufacturer’s pricing policy prohibits it. Sponsor will identify eligible products.
- Discounts have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be combined with other offers or discounts, and are limited to one per person.
- Discounts must be redeemed by placing an order within 90 days of winner notification. A discount applied to an order placed within that window remains valid while any required ATF approval is pending.
- Approximate retail value: Grand Prize $100; Runner-Up Prizes $50 each.
9. Legal requirements. To redeem a prize, the winner must:
- Be 21 or older and not prohibited by federal, state, or local law from receiving or possessing firearms
- Complete ATF Form 4473 and/or ATF Form 4 and pass a NICS background check
- For suppressors, reside in a state and locality where civilian suppressor ownership is legal and receive ATF approval of an ATF Form 4 before taking possession
- Comply with all applicable waiting periods, including Florida’s 3-day waiting period for handguns
All taxes, fees, and costs not covered by the discount are the winner’s responsibility. If a winner is denied, is ineligible, or cannot complete the transfer, the discount is void and no substitute is provided.
10. Out-of-state winners. Florida residents complete transfers through Sponsor in Vero Beach. For winners outside Florida, firearms will be shipped to a licensed dealer (FFL) of the winner’s choice in their state of residence. Suppressors will be transferred to an FFL/SOT of the winner’s choice in their state via an approved ATF Form 3, and the winner will complete the ATF Form 4 and/or ATF Form 4473 and transfer through that dealer. Fees charged by the receiving dealer, and shipping and insurance costs, are the winner’s responsibility.
11. Winner notification. Winners will be announced on the weigh-in post and notified by direct message only from Sponsor’s official account, @jkmunitions, within 3 days after the contest closes. Winners must reply within 14 days or forfeit the prize. Sponsor will never ask for payment, passwords, or personal financial information by direct message. Report any account impersonating Sponsor.
12. General conditions. Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, uses multiple or fake accounts, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner. If the contest cannot run as planned because of technical failure, fraud, or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control, Sponsor may modify or end the contest and judge eligible entries received before then. Sponsor’s decisions are final.
13. Release. By entering, entrants agree to these Official Rules and release Sponsor, Instagram, and Meta from all liability arising from participating in the contest or accepting or using a prize. Sponsor may use winners’ Instagram handles to announce results.
14. Instagram. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta. Entrants provide information to Sponsor, not to Instagram.
15. Governing law. These rules are governed by Florida law. Any dispute will be resolved in Indian River County, Florida.
16. Winners list. For a list of winners, email sales@jkmunitions.com within 60 days after the contest ends.
